Bacon-Stuffed French Toast
- 100 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar, divided
- 100 slices Texas toast slices (1 inch thick)
- 100 each eggs
- 1-1/2 gal. milk
- Sprinkle bacon evenly with half of the cinnamon sugar.
- Place on baking sheet.
- Bake in 350F-convection oven 8 to 10 min.
- or until crisp; drain.
- Make long horizontal cut in one of the long sides of each toast slice to make pocket, being careful to not cut all of the way through to opposite side of toast slice.
- Fold bacon slices in half; place 1 in each toast pocket.
- Beat eggs, milk and remaining cinnamon sugar in shallow dish with wire whisk until well blended.
- Dip toast slices in egg mixture, turning to evenly coat soak both sides of each slice.
- Cook on hot griddle 2 min.
- on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve with maple-flavored or pancake syrup, if desired.
