Thimble Cookies

  1. Cream sugar and butter in bowl.
  2. Add eggs vanilla and water.
  3. In another bowl combine dry ingredients.
  4. Add all at once to wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Dough should pull away from side of bowl.
  6. Roll tspfuls of dough in sugar.
  7. Using your thumb create an indent in the middle of the cookie and fill with jam or jelly.
  8. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake in 350, preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
