Beanie's Shrimp Creole Recipe

  1. Heat shortening in skillet.
  2. Add in flour.
  3. Stir till golden on high fire.
  4. Lower heat.
  5. Add in shrimp.
  6. Cook till shrimp turn pink (approximately 3 min).
  7. Add in seasonings (garlic, onion, and parsley).
  8. Cook approximately 2 min.
  9. Raise heat.
  10. Gradually add in water, and then remaining ingredients.
  11. Bring to a boil.
  12. Simmer covered for 20 to 30 min.
  13. Serve over rice.
