Basic pizza stone calzone

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Roll out room temperature pizza dough on a rectangle cutting board.
  3. I used a thin flexible one.
  4. Make sure to use plenty of flour to prevent any sticking.
  5. In a large bowl combine ricotta, all cheese, chicken and bacon.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Spoon mixture onto half of rolled out dough.
  8. Fold dough over mixture and pinch shut.
  9. Slide calzone off cutting board onto pizza stone.
  10. Brush top of calzone with olive oil.
  11. Bake 30 minutes.
  12. I usually turn the broiler on for a minute or less to brown the top after it's done baking.
  13. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
