Green Pepper Steak

  1. Cut steak across grain into thin strips.
  2. Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
  3. Add beef; toss and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in large pan or wok.
  5. Add beef; toss on high heat until browned.
  6. If meat is not tender, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
  7. Turn up heat.
  8. Add vegetables; toss until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.
  9. Mix cornstarch with water; add to pan.
  10. Stir until thickened.
  11. Add tomatoes and heat through.
