Crunchy Granola
- 3 cups whole wheat cereal squares
- 1 cup each coconut and whole blanched almonds or peanuts
- 1/2 cup each sunflower and sesame seeds
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cups mixed dried fruit (eg. Raisins, chopped dates, apricots or apples)
- COMBINE cereal, coconut, nuts and seeds in large bowl.
- BLEND in honey and oil; pour over cereal mixture; toss until evenly coated; spread evenly into two greased shallow baking pans.
- BAKE at 250F (120C), 1 hour or until lightly browned, stirring often.
- Stir in dried fruit.
- Cool on waxed paper.
- Store in airtight container for up to 4 days.
