Tortillas And Sopapillas Recipe
- 6 c. flour
- 1/2 c. powdered lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 3 tbsp. Crisco (shortening)
- 2 tbsp. salt
- Water to right consistency
- Knead and roll out 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat on cast iron plate or possibly in cast iron skillet.
- SOPAPILLAS: 1/2 tortilla recipe and do not use Crisco.
- Roll out thinner than tortillas and cut into squares.
- Deep fry.
- Serve hot with honey.
