Pastor's Wife's Peach Pie

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F.
  2. Peel the peaches and cut in halves.
  3. Separate the fruit from the pit.
  4. Arrange the peach halves face down in the pie crust.
  5. Mix the flour and sugar together.
  6. Then add the half and half, egg, and vanilla.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Pour the custard mix over the peaches.
  9. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes.
  10. Lower heat to 350F for 50 minutes or until the custard is set.
  11. Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
