BBQ Sauce with Liquid Smoke circa 1890

  1. Saute onion in oil until soft.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil and then simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Until sauce reaches thickness of molasses.
