Country Bean BBQ

  1. Drain lima beans; reserve 1/2 c liquid.
  2. In large skillet cook bacon until browned.
  3. Drain all but 1 tablespoons bacon fat from skillet.
  4. Add onion, celery and garlic; cook 5 minutes or until tender.
  5. Stir in ketchup, lima beans, reserved lima bean liquid and kidney beans; mix gently.
  6. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes; stir occasionally.
  7. Stir in Tabasco sauce.
