Root Beer-Glazed Chicken Wings

  1. Saute shallots and garlic in butter in medium skillet on medium heat 1 to 2 min.
  2. or until shallots are tender.
  3. Deglaze pan with root beer.
  4. Heat to simmering; reduce liquid by half.
  5. Stir in BarBQ Sauce and chile powder.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. For each serving: Cook 6 wings in 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) deep fryer 8 to 10 min.
  8. or until done (165 degrees F 74 degrees C); drain.
  9. Toss wings with 1 Tbsp.
  10. (15 mL) prepared sauce.
