chicken and dumplings

  1. cook chicken in pan or on electric grill season with poultry seasoning
  2. cut up celery and potato into small pieces
  3. shred chicken after fully cooked
  4. place celery chicken and potato and frozen carrots into a pot with about 1/2 filled with water and boil
  5. as the veggies start to soften add in some chicken broth
  6. mix flour with hot water until dissolved then slowly add to the pot to thicken
  7. add in dumplings and constantly stir to prevent sticking.
  8. put heat on low and let cook for about 30 mins or until dumplings are done.
  9. the pot will thicken as it cooks so just add more broth as needed
