chicken and dumplings
- 1 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 packages frozen carrots
- 1 large potato
- 1 poultry seasoning
- 1 box chicken broth
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 packages dumplings
- cook chicken in pan or on electric grill season with poultry seasoning
- cut up celery and potato into small pieces
- shred chicken after fully cooked
- place celery chicken and potato and frozen carrots into a pot with about 1/2 filled with water and boil
- as the veggies start to soften add in some chicken broth
- mix flour with hot water until dissolved then slowly add to the pot to thicken
- add in dumplings and constantly stir to prevent sticking.
- put heat on low and let cook for about 30 mins or until dumplings are done.
- the pot will thicken as it cooks so just add more broth as needed
