Tennessee Lemonade

  1. In a small sauce pan over high heat, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn off heat and cool.
  3. In a mixing glass, muddle lemon, add bourbon, simple syrup, ice, and triple sec.
  4. Shake and pour into a Collins glass, finished with a splash of soda on top.
  5. Squeeze a lemon slice on top.
  6. When we did this in the food processor, it was hard to get the sourdough pretzels to the right shape.
