Sweet and Sour Pork
- 1 lb boneless pork
- 1 cup sweet chili sauce
- 13 cup ketchup
- 1 (14 ounce) can pineapple chunks
- 1 head roasted garlic
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large onion
- 1 (14 ounce) can baby corn
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 12 tablespoons oil
- 12 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon Chinese five spice powder
- 4 stalks celery
- 1 bunch green onion
- Have the butcher cut up the meat into 1 inch cubes or cut it up yourself.
- Fry the pork in 1 tablespoon of oil over med to high heat until nicely browned, about 15 minutes.
- Dice up the celery, onion,& green pepper into nice sized pieces.
- Add in chopped celery, onion the mushrooms and fry for another 5 - 10 minutes or until soft.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil for 15 minutes stirring often.
- Cover and simmer for 20 - 30 minutes or until you can't take the awesome smell anymore -- serve with rice and enjoy.
