Liver With Piquant Sauce Recipe
- 1 pound sliced beef liver
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- Piquant sauce
- Cut liver into serving pcs.
- Place flour, garlic salt, paprika and pepper in plastic or possibly paper bag.
- Shake liver in bag till well coated.
- Heat shortening in medium skillet.
- Brown liver quickly on both sides, about 5 min.
- Remove to hot platter; keep hot while preparing Piquant sauce.
- Add in liver to sauce; heat through.
- Serves 4.
