Thai Turkey Basil Stirfry Recipe Zouba
- 1 lb of ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 clove of garlic, finely minced
- 1 onion, cut in half and chopped in big chunk
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce or tamari
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- A handful of purple basil or Genova basil
- In a large pan or a wok, cook the garlic in the hot oil.
- Add the chopped onion.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir with a wooden spoon.
- Add the ground turkey.
- Cook until there is no trace of pink meat, around 5-6 minutes.
- Stir with the spoon.
- In the same time, mix in a bowl the soy sauce with the sugar, the fish sauce and the lime juice using a fork.
- Pour the sauce in the pan and stir for about 1 minute.
- Put the basil leaves on top of the turkey, stir and serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
