Healthified Power Bars
- 3- 1/2 cups Gluten Free Oats
- 3/4 cups Raisins (or Craisins)
- 23 cups Sunflower Seeds (unsalted)
- 1/2 cups Sesame Seeds, Toasted
- 1/2 cups Pumpkin Seeds, Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Flax Seed (Whole Or Ground)
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Shredded Coconut (optional)
- 1 cup Almonds, Chopped
- 1- 1/2 cup Creamy Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Honey
- 5 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
- 1 package 10 Oz. Sunspire Grain Sweetened Chocolate Chips (or Regular Chocolate Chips)
- Mix oats, raisins, sunflower seeds, sesame, pumpkin and flax seeds in a large bowl.
- Add cinnamon, salt and shredded coconut, mix well and set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix chopped almonds, peanut butter, honey and melted butter; mix well.
- Pour mixture into a large bowl, over the seed mixture.
- Stir until well combined.
- Press into a 9 x 13 greased pan and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chips over bars.
- Return to the oven for additional 2-3 minutes or until the chips are soft.
- Spread softened chips evenly over the bars and cool.
- Cut into bars and refrigerate.
