South African Chutney Recipe
- 1 pound dry apricots
- 4 lg. onions
- 1 pound seedless raisins
- 1/4 c. grnd almonds
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- Cayenne to taste
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 pt. vinegar
- Salt & pepper
- Soak apricots overnight.
- Boil till soft.
- Boil onions till tender, chop.
- Mince raisins.
- Mix all together and boil 30 min, stirring constantly.
- Yield 2 qts.
