Packed with Sesame Flavor! Easy and Delicious Salt-Chicken Chanko (Sumo Wrestler's Hot Pot)
- 500 grams Chicken meat
- 1/2 Napa cabbage
- 2 Japanese leek
- 1 packet Bunapi-shimeji mushrooms
- 1 packet Bean sprouts
- 200 grams Shirataki (konnyaku noodles)
- 1 block Tofu
- 1 1/2 liter Water
- 4 tbsp Chicken soup stock granules
- 2 tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Grated garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp Grated ginger
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- Cut the ingredients into a size of your liking.
- Put all the ingredients (except for the ground sesame seeds) into an earthenware pot.
- Boil them along with the chicken and shirataki konnyaku noodles.
- Once it starts to boil put all the remaining vegetables into the pot.
- Once everything has been fully cooked put the tofu and ground sesame into the pot.
- Now it's ready to eat.
- Add in Chinese style noodles, your kids will love it.
- Note: For adults use a lot of soup and add extra ground sesame and cut scallions.
- Adding shichimi spice or hot sesame oil gives it the most amazing flavor.
