Barley Pilaf With Peas Recipe

  1. In a med.
  2. saucepan, bring 3 C water and bouillon cubes to a boil; stir in barley.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 - 12 minutes, stirring occas.
  4. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a lg skillet, saute/fry peas, onion and garlic in 1/4 C water for 5 minutes; reduce heat.
  6. Stir in barley and soy sauce.
  7. Cover and continue cooking till heated through, stirring occas.
  8. NOTES : PREP TIME: 10 minutes
  9. Cooking Time: 25 - 30 minutes
