Chakalaka Sauce
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 6 lg. tomatoes, diced
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 4 lg. carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 lb. can of baked beans
- 4 tbsp. hot curry powder
- 2 fresh chillies, minced
- 1 tbsp. peri-peri
- 5 fl. oz. oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt

- Warm oil in pot for 1 minute 2.
- Put in onions and green pepper, and fry until soft 3.
- Add the carrots, tomatoes, chillies and baked beans and stir 4.
- Cook for 15 minutes on medium heat 5.
- Stir every few minutes to ensure that it does not stick to the pot.

- Add curry, peri-peri and salt to season 7.
- Cook on low for further 15 minutes
