Watermelon Sorbet

  1. Combine sugar, water and syrup in a sauce pan and stir until it boils.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Let cool in the refigerator.
  4. Cut up watermelon, discarding the seeds.
  5. Puree in a food processor.
  6. Measure and add 3 cups of watermelon an lemon to the cold sugar, water and syrup mixture.
  7. Pour into ice cream maker for 20 -30 minutes.
