Lori's Mushroom Consomme
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 13 black peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
- 12 cinnamon stick
- salt (to taste)
- 12 teaspoon srirracha hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (10 ounce) package mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons fat free sour cream
- 12 teaspoon fresh ground cinnamon
- Combine the first 6.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce.
- Cover.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
- Strain.
- Return to pot.
- Meanwhile, heat butter in a skillet.
- Add mushrooms.
- Saute until they re-absord thier liquid, sbout 7-8 minutes.
- Stir in broth.
- Ladle into bowls.
- Top with the last 2 --.
