Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas, Drained
- 1 jar Roasted Red Peppers (The Ones I Buy Are 12 Oz Size)
- 3/4 Tablespoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Tablespoons Tahini Paste
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- First off, this recipe is going to be spicy!
- If you dont like spice, then either cut back or eliminate the red pepper flakes!
- Mix all of the ingredients together in the bowl of your food processor and blend very well.
- Depending on how good your food processor is, this could take a few minutes.
- If you want the hummus to be thinner, then you can always add a little bit of water (a tablespoon or two).
- Serve with pita chips or vegetables!
