Blue Cheese Fondue

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the warm milk.
  4. Continue to stir as the sauce thickens.
  5. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Lower the heat and cook, stirring, 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Stir in the blue cheese and cream cheese and cook, about 2 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
  9. Serve immediately.
