Cabbage And Carrot Relish Recipe
- 3 c. scraped and minced carrots
- 5 c. minced sweet red and/or possibly green peppers
- 4 c. minced cabbage
- 2 c. minced onions
- 3 1/2 c. white or possibly cider vinegar
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- Mix all the vegetables together well.
- Boil the vinegar, sugar, salt, celery and mustard seed together for 2 or possibly 3 min.
- Add in the vegetables and bring to a boil.
- Cook for exactly one minute and pack into warm sterilized jars.
- Seal at once.
- This recipe yields 6 pints.
- Yield: 6 pints
