Breakfast Sausage - Homemade

  1. Set up meat grinder with course blade.
  2. Slice pork into 1 inch strips.
  3. Combine spices and mix half into pork strips.
  4. Grind seasoned pork into large bowl sprinkling remaining spice over ground pork.
  5. When all pork is ground and remaining spice added, place in refrigerator to chill.
  6. Replace course blade in grinder with fine blade.
  7. Regrind seasoned pork.
  8. Separate pork into packages and freeze or form into patties or links.
  9. Fry sausage over medium heat until browned on each side and cooked through.
  10. Or crumble and brown for you favorite casserole recipe.
