Boysenberry Glace Pie Recipe
- 1 x Baked pie shell--9-inch
- 1 1/2 quart Boysenberries
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/2 c. Water Few drops red food color, If you like
- 1 pkt (3 ounces) cream cheese, Softened
- Prepare and bake pie shell.
- Mash sufficient Boysenberries to measure 1 c..
- Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-qt saucepan.
- Gradually stir in water, food color and mashed Boysenberries.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and boils.
- Boil and stir 1 minute; cold.Beat cream cheese till smooth.
- Spread in pie shell.
- Fill shell with remaining Boysenberries.
- Pour cooked Boysenberry mix over top.
- Chill about 3 hrs or possibly till set.
- 8 SERVINGS; 330 CALORIES PER SERVING.
