Black Eyed Pea Patties

  1. Mash black eyed peas in a medium bowl.
  2. Add chopped onion, chopped celery, seasoning, bacon, and egg.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add bread crumbs to make mixture tight enough to form into patties.
  5. Dredge patties in flour.
  6. Fry patties in vegetable oil until golden brown.
