Black Eyed Pea Patties
- 1 can Black Eyed Peas Per 2 People
- 1/2 cups Diced Onion
- 1 stalk Chopped Celery
- Salt To Taste
- Pepper To Taste
- Garlic Powder, To Taste
- 3 slices Crumbled Bacon
- 1 whole Egg
- Bread Crumbs
- Flour
- Vegetable Oil
- Mash black eyed peas in a medium bowl.
- Add chopped onion, chopped celery, seasoning, bacon, and egg.
- Mix well.
- Add bread crumbs to make mixture tight enough to form into patties.
- Dredge patties in flour.
- Fry patties in vegetable oil until golden brown.
