omega 3 granola Recipe spm
- 4 cups oats
- 1/2 C. maple syrup
- 1/3 C. grape seed oil and enough flaxseed oil and hazelnut oil to make 1/2 oil in all
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- salt to taste
- 1 C. chopped hazelnuts
- 1/4 C. ground flaxseeds
- Measure oats into a largish bowl and stir in the maple syrup and oils until well covered.
- Stir in spices, salt, nuts and flaxseeds.
- Cover a jellyroll pan with parchment paper and evenly spread the granola over it.
- Bake in a 300 degree oven (preheated, please) for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Stir the granola every 10 minutes while baking.
