Spiced Tea with Pimm's

  1. In a heat-proof pitcher combine the tea bags with 4 cups boiling water, the sugar, the broken cinnamon sticks, the cloves, and the zest, let the tea steep for 5 minutes, and discard the tea bags.
  2. Let the tea cool, chill it for 1 hour, or until it is cold, and stir in the Pimm's.
  3. Pour the mixture into tall glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish each drink with an additional cinnamon stick and a strip of orange rind.
