M. A. Blaney's Bean Soup Recipe
- 1 bag dry Navy beans
- 1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
- 3 carrots, cut lg. pcs
- Ham bone and minced ham
- 3 lg. white potatoes
- Rinse and pick through dry beans.
- Put beans, ham bone, ham and carrots in a large pot.
- Cover with water and cook for about 3 hrs.
- (Check water level during cooking - Edit.)
- Remove ham bone and check beans.
- When beans are almost done add in potatoes.
- Continue cooking till potatoes are tender.
- Break up potatoes with a long handled fork to thicken up the soup then munge (eat!
