Maple Creams Candy
- 1 cup maple sugar
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 14 cup water
- 12 teaspoon almond extract
- walnuts
- Cook together the sugars& water to 240,or softball stage.
- Add the extract in.
- Let cool until lukewarm.
- When lukewarm,beat until mixture is creamy but firm.
- Knead mixture until it is smooth.
- Shape into small sized balls.
- Press a walnut in each.
