Caesar Penne and Asparagus Salad

  1. Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente; drain.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large frying pan and cook bacon until browned and crisp.
  3. Set aside on paper towel to drain.
  4. Add remaining oil to pan and cook asparagus over medium heat until just tender.
  5. Toss the drained pasta with the dressing, egg, chives and asparagus until well coated.
  6. Slice bacon and serve over warm pasta salad.
  7. Serve immediately.
