Chicken Parmesan Subs

  1. Notes: You can prepare the chicken breasts however you like baked, sauteed, rotisserie, etc.
  2. Leftover is perfect!
  3. You can use store bought spaghetti sauce if you are short on time.

  5. Chop cooked chicken breasts into small 1/2-inch pieces.
  6. Heat spaghetti sauce in saucepan and add chicken pieces.
  7. Cook until chicken is heated through.
  8. Slice hoagie buns or wide French bread in half.
  9. Press garlic clove through a garlic press or chop finely and add it to the butter.
  10. Mix until well incorporated.
  11. Spread garlic butter over bread.
  12. You may need to use more butter if you prefer.
  13. Preheat broiler.
  14. Place bread on a pan, cut side up, under broiler.
  15. Watch carefully and broil until golden and crunchy.
  16. Distribute the chicken mixture over bread.
  17. Top generously with cheeses.
  18. Return to oven and broil until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3 minutes.
  19. Remove from oven and let set a few minutes.
  20. If you used French bread, slice into whatever size of serving you prefer.
  21. And chow down!
