Mexican Coffee (Pot Coffee) Recipe
- 6 c. water
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 inches stick cinnamon
- 6 whole cloves
- 3/4 c. regular grind, roasted coffee
- In a 3 qt saucepan combine water, brown sugar, stick cinnamon and cloves heat and stir till sugar is dissolved.
- Add in coffee.
- Bring to boiling, reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, for 1 to 2 min.
- Remove from heat.
- Cover and let stand for 15 min.
- Strain before serving.
- Makes 6 (8 ounce.)
