Beef Mandarin Recipe

  1. Brown meat and onion in warm oil in heavy saucepan.
  2. Add in water, soy sauce, ginger, sugar and orange juice.
  3. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
  4. Add in celery, water chestnuts, frzn vegetables, let simmer five min.
  5. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 c. cool water and add in to mix to thicken.
  6. Add in mandarin oranges or possibly pineapple and heat.
  7. Serve with rice.
