Pizza Hot Dish (Weight Watchers) Recipe
- 1 lb., 10 ounce. grnd turkey
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 3 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd fennel seed
- 4 c. cooked noodles
- 2 ounce. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 ounce. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 ounce. Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. canned mushrooms
- Broil meat to desired doneness.
- Combine meat, green pepper, onion, and spices with tomato sauce.
- Simmer 15 min over low heat.
- Cook, rinse and drain noodles.
- Place in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan, sprayed with Pam.
- Pour meat sauce over noodles.
- Sprinkle cheeses.
- Arrange mushrooms.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
- Cold 10 min.
- Cut into 8 sections.
- Each section equals: 4 proteins, 1/4 vegetable, 1 bread, 37 optional calories.
