Cinnamon Baked Apples

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Peel apples & core 3/4 of the way down.
  3. Place apples 8 square greased baking dish.
  4. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins & pecans.
  5. Spoon 1/4 of mixture into hollow core of each apple.
  6. Top each apple with 1 t margarine.
  7. Bring apple juice or cider to boil; stir in lemon juice, & pour into baking dish.
  8. Cover dish and bake 25-35 minutes, basting occasionally with juice.
  9. Serve warm.
