Barbecued Brisket
- 1 large beef brisket
- 12 cup water
- 14 cup cider vinegar
- 14 cup ketchup
- 14 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 12 cup hickory flavored barbecue sauce
- 12 cup ketchup
- 14 cup brisket juice
- 12 tablespoon lemon juice
- 14 cup water
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
- 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 dash Heinz 57 steak sauce
- Place brisket in covered pan with aluminum foil or lid with sauce mixture of 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, 1/4 cup catsup, 1/4 cup syrup, and 2 tbsp salad oil.
- Bake in 225F oven for 8 hours.
- Mix barbecue sauce and serve warm over sliced brisket.
