Best Whole Wheat Bread Recipe

  1. Scald lowfat milk.
  2. Add in shortening, sugar and stir till dissolved.
  3. Add in whole wheat flour and beat rapidly.
  4. Add in dissolved yeast and cool water.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add in sufficient white flour to make a soft dough.
  7. Let rise till double; punch down and turn over in greased bowl.
  8. Let rise till double again.
  9. Shape into 3 loaves.
  10. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees.
