The Reverend's Durty Pickles
- 3 tbsp Dill seed
- 2 tbsp Whole Mustard seed
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp Crushed red pepper
- 6 Whole black peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp Celery salt
- 3 medium Pickling cucumbers
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 1 Habanero pepper
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 boiling water
- 1 white vinegar (5%)
- Into a pint mason jar or some other sealable container, add the dry ingredients.
- Crush the garlic and drop it in
- Slice the cucumbers into spears.
- Add to jars.
- Slice the jalapenos and habanero (lengthwise or rings) and stuff into the spaces between the cucumbers.
- Boil some water.
- Mix 1:1 with vinegar.
- Pour into jars while hot.
- Apply lid.
- Shake to distribute contents.
- Refrigerate for five days.
- Turn/shake jars once a day.
- Reap the rewards.
- Only wield this power for good.
