Lamb and beef on Cuban bread
- 2 lb leg of lamb
- 2 lb eye of round beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp ground black pepper, fresh
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 loaf Cuban bread, the large loaf
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 tbsp yellow prepared mustard
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit
- Cut bread int 6 equal pieces, then slice in half long ways.
- Add margarine on both halves.
- Mix mayonnaise and mustard.
- Put into oven till crisp about 15 minutes.
- Pan fry the lamb in oil add half salt, pepper, garlic.
- Add all the marjoram.
- When done set aside add beef to the pan.
- Add the rest of the garlic, salt and pepper.
- Slice the onions and when you turn meat add onions and vinegar.
- Cook till beef is done.
- Add lamb to bread then the beef and onions.serve hope you enjoy!
