Bisquick Banana Bread
- 2 1/2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick) bake it all mix*
- 1 cup bananas mashed**
- 1/4 cup nuts chopped
- 1 each eggs
- 23 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Do not pack.
- *About 1 pound, or 4 small bananas.
- Combine bananas, nuts and egg.
- Add sugar and soda.
- Beat to blend thoroughly.
- Turn into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
- Bake in a 350F (180C).
- oven 45 to 50 minutes.
- Let stand about 10 minutes, then turn out on rack to cool.
- Twelve hours' storage improves flavor and texture.
