Bisquick Banana Bread

  1. Do not pack.
  2. *About 1 pound, or 4 small bananas.
  3. Combine bananas, nuts and egg.
  4. Add sugar and soda.
  5. Beat to blend thoroughly.
  6. Turn into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
  7. Bake in a 350F (180C).
  8. oven 45 to 50 minutes.
  9. Let stand about 10 minutes, then turn out on rack to cool.
  10. Twelve hours' storage improves flavor and texture.
