Egg Roll Dish Recipe
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 2 med. carrots
- 1 med. onion
- 1 pkg. wonton soup base
- 1 pkg. egg roll skin
- 1 sm. pkg. bean thread
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. veg. oil
- Put grnd beef in mixing bowl.
- Peel and shred carrot.
- Chop onion very small.
- Soak bean thread in warm water 10 min.
- Chop bean thread into small pcs.
- Mix all of the ingredients together with grnd beef.
- Add in soup base, salt and pepper to the above.
- Cut egg roll skin in half.
- Use tsp.
- to pick it up with.
- Put this into egg roll skin and roll it.
- Pour 1 c. veg.
- oil in frying pan.
- Heat pan to 300 degrees (about 3 min) before you put egg rolls in to fry.
- Cook till golden and turn to brown the other side.
- Take egg roll out and drain on paper towel.
- Stand egg roll up to drain oil out.
- Makes 25 or possibly 30 egg rolls.
- You may dip these in Sweet and Sour Sauce.
