Tender Pan-Fried Ginger Pork

  1. Pour sake on the meat and evenly rub in.
  2. Combine ingredients (if using frozen ginger, slice it while it's still frozen).
  3. Thinly slice the onion lengthwise.
  4. Cover a cutting board in cling wrap, then coat the meat in katakuriko and black pepper.
  5. Saute the onion in 1/2 tablespoon of oil, then remove from pan.
  6. Add 1/2 tablespoon of oil and cook the meat, stirring often.
  7. Return the onion to the pan and add in the ingredients from Step 2...
  8. Mix together and it's done!
  9. Serve with rice and enjoy!
