Tender Pan-Fried Ginger Pork
- 1/2 Onion
- 100 grams Pork (thinly cut for shabu-shabu)
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 10 grams Ginger
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Pour sake on the meat and evenly rub in.
- Combine ingredients (if using frozen ginger, slice it while it's still frozen).
- Thinly slice the onion lengthwise.
- Cover a cutting board in cling wrap, then coat the meat in katakuriko and black pepper.
- Saute the onion in 1/2 tablespoon of oil, then remove from pan.
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of oil and cook the meat, stirring often.
- Return the onion to the pan and add in the ingredients from Step 2...
- Mix together and it's done!
- Serve with rice and enjoy!
