Maple- Nut-Raisin Muffins
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Bisquick baking mix
- 1 teaspoon soft butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 12 cup raisins
- 13 cup chopped pecans
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 23 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
- 1 egg
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Grease bottoms of 12 muffin cups with spray or shortening or you can use paper baking cups.
- In a small bowl mix the topping ingredients and set aside.
- In a large bowl stir the muffin ingredients until just moistened.
- Spoon evenly in muffin pans
- Sprinke with topping.
- Bake 15-18 minute or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and remove from pan to cooling rack.
- Serve warm.
