Quick Strawberry Jam

  1. Mash strawberries in a large bowl with a potato masher or a fork.
  2. Stir together berries, sugar, pectin, and lemon juice in a 12-inch nonstick skillet and boil until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a bowl to cool, then chill, covered, until ready to serve.
