Easy Homemade Chili
- 1 whole Large Onion, Peeled
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper
- 12 stalks Celery (one Bundle)
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 10 ounces, weight Can Of Original Rotel
- 14- 1/2 ounces, weight Can Of Diced Tomatoes
- 29 ounces, weight Can Of Tomato Sauce
- Salt And Pepper
- Tony Chachere's (Seasoned Salt)
- 3 ounces, weight McCormick Chili Powder
- Puree the onion, bell pepper, and celery to a liquid-y mush.
- In a pot, cook the puree and ground meat together, mixing continuously while the meat cooks.
- When the meat is thoroughly cooked, add in the Rotel and diced tomatoes.
- Add the tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper, Tonys/season salt to taste.
- At this point it will pretty much be like spaghetti and meat sauce.
- Add the McCormick chili powder.
- (I have used other brands, and I find this is the one with the flavor i love the most!)
- You may need to add more salt, as the chili tends to leave a bitter taste.
- Season to taste and enjoy!
