Great Grandma's Plum Pudding Recipe
- 1/2 pound common crackers
- 2 quart. lowfat milk
- 1 pound seedless raisins, scalded
- 1/4 pound citron or possibly any dry fruit
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- Break up the crackers by hand and soak in 1 qt of lowfat milk, then add in second qt of lowfat milk.
- Add in the remaining ingredients making sure which the Large eggs are added last.
- Bake quick for 1 hour, then slow for 2-3 hrs.
